West Berkeley
An exciting place to live!

The shopping heart of West Berkeley is the 4th Street shopping district, so visit my video and photos on the 4th Street Web Page.

West Berkeley goes from Emeryville to Albany, and is filled with restaurants, amazing food markets, art studios and more! Here's a sample of what awaits you.

Neighborhood
Cafes & Restaurants - Caffe Trieste, Local123, Viks Chaat, Luca Cucina Italiana, Paisan, La Mission, Picante.

International & Ethnic Markets - Berkeley Bowl West (one of the most astonishing groceries we’ve ever seen), Mi Terra Food, Middle East Market, Spanish Table, Vik’s, and Whole Foods coming to Gilman Street.

Nearby - the beautiful new West Berkeley Library, plant nursery, post office, the West Berkeley Design Loop with unique home improvement merchants, wineries, breweries, Nolo Press and Black Oak Books, The Ecology Center, and the Sierra Club. Many of the East Bay Open Studios are nearby - meet with the artists and purchase crafts directly from them.

Parks - Aquatic Park and Berkeley Marin a short distance away

And of course 4th Street with the Apple Store, Builders Booksource, Bette’s Oceanview Diner
