Contrary to popular belief... there’s no fixed or set real estate commission. All commissions are negotiable.

It’s important to ask yourself which is more important to you - netting the most amount of money from your sale, or paying the lowest sales fee. Once you decide which is more important, how much commission to invest in your sale becomes clear. Some sellers feel that the best way to make more money is to reduce expenses, other sellers know that marketing to get multiple offers and overbids, and then negotiating the best terms, results in the highest sales price.
